Kelly Ripa has began a completely new career as an author. Kelly reveals what actually drives her in Live Wire, her debut novel. She brings a hard-earned wisdom and an eye for the absurdity of life to every minute of every day as a professional, wife, daughter, and mother. Her relatability in each of these roles has won her a devoted following on social media and fans throughout the world.
No matter what, Kelly always tells it like it is. She talks about how she and Mark actually met, the level of chauvinism she encountered on set, how Jersey Pride follows her everywhere she goes, and many, many moments of utter mortification (where she proves that you cannot, in fact, die of embarrassment). Ms. Ripa takes no prisoners.
Surprising, occasionally brutal, a touch shameless, and always funny…
Live Wire portrays Kelly as the very intelligent, opinionated person she is in real life.
The release of Ripa’s debut book, Live Wire, which is scheduled for September 27, has been eagerly anticipated, and now Ripa has added to the excitement by announcing a brief book tour to coincide with the publication. The Live host reportedly received demands for even more stops on the tour, which was originally only scheduled to make three stops in New York and New Jersey. We’ve just added three extra stops to my book tour for LIVE WIRE because you begged for it! In a recent Instagram post, Ripa wrote. “I’m hoping to run into you in one of these towns! The sale of tickets has begun! Xo, Kelly
Live Wire will be promoted by the talk show host and a few more special guests. On September 28, she will start at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey, where she will be accompanied by Consuelos. On September 29, she will visit the Symphony Space in New York City with Anderson Cooper, and on September 30, she will travel to the Theatre at Westbury in Long Island with Bethenny Frankel. Now, she has added stops at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan on October 7, the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago, Illinois on October 8 and the Kentucky Center in Louisville, Kentucky on October 9.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now, and Live Wire can be pre-ordered here
