Fans of CBS, get ready, the new season has arrived. Be no longer fatigued after missing some of our favorites for such a long time. Beginning on September 17 with 48 Hours, the CBS 2022 fall TV schedule will continue with premieres until October 9, when NCIS: Los Angeles returns to begin its 14th season.
NCIS, Blue Bloods, S.W.A.T., and CSI are among the popular crime programs returning to CBS. The FBI trio is still intact, and all three series are returning on Tuesday, September 20. Fans of FBI will be happy to hear this. New seasons of Survivor and The Amazing Race will premiere the next night, and Big Brother Season 24 will come to an end on Sunday, September 25.
Three new shows that will debut this season are being introduced by CBS. Beginning on September 29, So Help Me Todd, starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin, will be added to the Thursday night schedule at 9 p.m. Beginning on Sunday, October 2, CBS will continue its cop show tradition, and on Friday, October 7, the new drama Fire Country will debut on the network’s schedule.
You might notice that numerous cherished programs are missing from the schedule for fall after a particularly cruel round of cancellations back in May. CBS canceled Good Sam, B Positive, The United States of Al, and How We Roll. After four seasons, CBS also ended Magnum P.I., but NBC stepped in to preserve the redesigned detective thriller. (Look for when Magnum is scheduled to return on NBC listing for this fall.)
The dramas Fire Country, East New York, and So Help Me Todd as well as the reality series The Real Love Boat will all make their debuts on CBS this fall. The eagerly awaited True Lies TV adaptation has been postponed until midseason.
