DWTS Finale kicked off with a dynamic number. The Cedric Gervais & Franklin ft. Nile Rodgers’ song “Everybody Dance” served as the opening performance for the season 31 finale, which included the show’s professional dancers.’

All of the participants who had been eliminated came back to dance in the finale. The two dancers who made the most headlines were Selma Blair and Sasha Farber, who performed after Selma had to withdraw from the competition because of issues with her MS.

Shangela and Gleb Savchenko

After getting a flawless score, Shangela stated that she believed her Halloween Night performance to be her “breakthrough moment” in terms of her journey. For their redemption dance, with personal points from judge Bruno Tonioli, they danced a Quickstep  on their final performance to “Queen Bee” by Rochelle Diamante.
Score: 36/40

Wayne Brady and Witney Carson

The difficulties Wayne’s demanding schedule presented were highlighted, along with his need to “show myself” that I could handle them. “The importance of the redemption dance cannot be overstated since everything will be scrutinized to the last detail. This week is a significant one, and you can count on us to deliver.” They received personal tips from judge Len Goodman, who chose the Quickstep as their redemption dance.. Wayne & Witney delivered a wonderful Quickstep to “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher” by Jackie Wilson.

Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas

With some professional tips from judge Carrie Ann Inaba, for their redemption dance she choose the ‘Jive” which would be danced to “Grown” by Little Mix.

I don’t think I spent enough time working on the character component of my jive from earlier in the season, which they performed during week five on Prom Night, Charli said to Mark.
Score 40/40

Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy

The two were excited to have six-time winner Derek Hough  sit in on their practice sessions  and to give them tips on their dance. He wanted to see them do their cha cha to Pete Rodriguez’s “I Like It (Like That)” as their redemption dance.
