Steve Burton, who made his Days debut in 1988 and played Harris Michaels for 12 episodes before reprising the role for five episodes in the spinoff Beyond Salem, is making a comeback, according to People.
According to the streamer, Burton’s character will have “a fascinating new storyline” and collaborate with seasoned actors like Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans, Deidre Hall, and Drake Hogestyn.
While additional details about the return are being kept under wraps, what we do know is that he will return to the Peacock soap opera early next year. With Steve Burton back on the canvas and Harris back in the fold, DOOL can expect more excitement, more romance and unique adventures.
For ‘Days Of Our Lives’ fans this is exciting news, not so much for the General Hospital fans that held out hope he would reprise his role of Jason Morgan now that ABC/Disney has lifted their COVID vaccination protocol.
Disney fired several well-known actors on popular shows because those actors refused to follow Disney’s vaccination protocol. Steve Burton and Ingo Rademacher were both let go from General Hospital when they refused to get the vaccine.
