Newly formed Louisiana Sue’s Krewe of Gumbo have crowned a new King!
You know him as Michael Baldwin, the 3-time Daytime Emmy Winner of CBS Television’s “The Young and the Restless,” and recently of New York’s “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” We proudly present the King of the Krewe of Gumbo’s 2023 inaugural parade: KING CHRISTIAN JULES LE BLANC!
The parade, which will take place on February 18 from 2 to 8 p.m., will feature floats, art cars, marching bands, poi spinners, brass bands, dancers, beads, and more! Get your purple, green, and gold ready, and make your way to downtown & old Sacramento to celebrate Mardi Gras and all it has to offer with crowds of fun people. *Don’t forget to wear your funky fits and costumes. It is Mardi Gras time, let the excitement ring in the air!
The Freeway Gardens in Old Sacramento will host LOUISIANA SUE’S OWN Mardi Gras celebration, complete with libations, authentic Louisiana cuisine, and live music!
